Stacy Sheridan, LPC (she/her)
Stacy and Jenn started Connections Counseling in 2011. Stacy specializes in working with unresolved trauma in adults and the “stuckness” they often feel in their body, mind and heart. She has 20 years experience in the mental health field and uses unique body centered talk modalities, present moment mindfulness to access resources, movement to clear out the stuck sensations and breath work to guide clients through the healing process. Stacy is trained in EMDR & is a Certified Sensorimotor Practitioner and Consultant. Stacy primarily works with therapists and other healers as they move through their own journey. Jennifer D Weiler, LPC (she/her)
As co-owner of Connections Counseling, Jenn is our relationship, attachment and neuroscience specialist. Jenn is an expert in the healing of trauma. She is passionate about helping couples understand underlying emotional needs that contribute to conflict and unhappiness. Jenn is trained in EMDR and somatic experiencing, but most of all understands that creating a safe relationship that is authentic is the most important aspect of healing from past wounds. Joe Boyle, LPC (he/him)
Joe joined Connections Counseling in 2020 and has spent the last two years of his career working in community mental health primarily serving individuals experiencing homelessness, the LGBTQ community, and individuals with felony backgrounds. As a gay man himself, Joe holds a special place in his heart for the LGBTQ community and strives to help his community find meaning, healing, and most of all, connection with themselves and those around them. He believes that as human beings we are constantly seeking connection, belonging and meaning, and in the absence of these we suffer. Joe is trained in art therapy, DBT, and somatic therapy. Joe enjoys working with all individuals, ages 11 and older, because he knows trauma does not discriminate based upon gender, sexuality, or status. Bridget Blasius, LPC (they/them)
Bridget Blasius joined Connections Counseling in 2020. They specialize in working with individuals who have experienced early developmental trauma and attachment wounds. They also have an extensive background in working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Bridget especially enjoys working with the LGBTQIA community, and brings an awareness of the impact of oppression and marginalization on mental health. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Bridget believes wholeheartedly in the body's wisdom, resilience and capacity to heal. Cass Smith, Licensed Massage Therapist (she/her)
Cass graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2010. Cass has certificates in Aromatherapy, Hydrostone, Raindrop and Reiki, Cass practices Trauma Touch and Healing Touch Therapies. Cass is passionate about what she does and caters her massage style to the client needs. She enjoys helping clients feel healthier, relaxed and finding the connection between body, mind and spirit. Our bodies carry so much of our emotions, and the trauma is stored in our tissues. It is important to detox our bodies and purge the toxins through massage. Emily Cormier, MA, LPCC (she/her)
Emily joined Connections Counseling in 2024 while completing her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University. She loves helping adolescents and adults navigate major life transitions and cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges. She sees individuals, families, and couples, and is LGBTQ+ allied and HAES (Health At Every Size) aligned. Emily works with relationship challenges, social anxiety, body image issues, identity exploration, chronic illness, neurodiversity, men's issues, and religious trauma. She brings warmth, acceptance, and humor into her relationships with clients. Emily uses mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop more self-awareness, self-acceptance, and agency in their lives. Emily also offers EMDR to help clients move through trauma and stuck emotions. Outside of the therapy room, Emily enjoys karaoke, salsa dancing, bird watching, visiting cute cafes and yoga. Bridget Abare, LCSW, BCN Neurotherapist (she/her)
Bridget joined Connections Counseling in 2021. Bridget has been working in mental health for over 25 years and providing Neurofeedback therapy for over 15 years. She provides qEEG guided Neurofeedback to children and adults struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues and learning disabilities. Bridget is board certified in Neurofeedback and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She can only accept Medicaid and self-pay for Neurofeedback therapy. Bridget also specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a goal oriented collaborative approach to therapy that focuses on the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Kennedi Browne, MA, LPCC (she/her)
Kennedi joined Connections Counseling in 2021 while completing her masters in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. Kennedi believes that within each of us lies an innate healing capacity, simply waiting to be unearthed. She is passionate about supporting individuals with complex and developmental trauma, grief, anxiety, attachment wounding and other difficulties as they explore and deepen their connection to self, others, and the world around them. Kennedi brings gentleness, creativity and humor in her body-based approach, which is rooted in gestalt, transpersonal and parts work therapeutic lenses. She often finds tools such as music and art helpful in cultivating clients’ awareness and healing. Joe joined Connections Counseling Clinical Training program in 2025 and is a master’s student at Colorado Christian University. He brings safe presence and gentle curiosity to help clients heal and grow. Joe loves working with people who may be apprehensive about therapy to develop a deeper understanding of self while also challenging them to achieve their goals. In therapy with Joe, you will establish a relationship based on healthy attachment, breathe grace into personal narratives, and explore body-based healing. Through intentional focus on balancing spiritual needs and grounded reality, Joe hopes for clients to leave therapy feeling truer, lighter, and freer. Beyond the therapy room he’s a typical Colorado kid enjoying the outdoors with his family and pups.

Jesse Gurney, MA in progress (he/him)
Jesse joined Connections Counseling in 2026 and is pursuing a Masters of Mental Health Counseling degree at Naropa University. He's interested in helping people align with thoughts and actions that feel better, drawing upon human needs psychology, attachment theory, neurobiology, somatic techniques, and parts work. His goal is to provide an authentic and zero-judgement environment to help everything that's showing up in our psyche feel welcomed, and he likes to bring in a sense of humor and lightness into sessions when the context allows. He has specialties in supporting ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD, and he often utilizes trauma-informed somatic approaches to help remove the blocks below the surface that are holding people back. He also has a specific interest in helping men learn how to identify what they want, communicate effectively, and take action that lifts up themselves and others equally.
